Major Bleed Control Training

Taking place at Northampton University October 18th 18.15pm – 19.30pm

This training is part of West Northamptonshire’s Community Safety Partnership’s Knife Angel Legacy work. The session will be delivered by Meditech Global, a CQC registered private ambulance company extremely experienced in this training. The training will enable participants to understand the importance of treating major bleeds, use the contents of bleed kits and how to improvise if they are not available.

Bleed kits have been installed around the county thanks to the Wellingborough based charity Off the Streets. A link to the mapping system developed by Off the Streets showing where the bleed kits are situated will be emailed to participants and is also available on the Explore Northampton app which is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.

There is plenty of parking at the University at a cost of 50p after 5pm. The training will be in Learning Hub , room LH013 which is on the ground floor.
