Located in the beating heart of Northampton’s Cultural Quarter, accessing the meeting and event spaces at Vulcan Works couldn’t be easier. Just minutes from the town centre, our relaxed meeting rooms benefit from excellent transport links, surrounding car parks, and a choice of hotels for out-of-town guests.

Frequently asked questions
Each meeting room includes WiFi access, tea and coffee, a presentation screen with Clickshare and HDMI connectivity, a whiteboard and a flip chart.
Yes. We offer external local catering options. Menus are available on request, and we can arrange catering with a minimum of 48 hours‘ notice before your booking.
Yes. You can book a meeting room for a minimum of one hour, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Payment must be made before the meeting takes place. You can pay by bank transfer once we have issued an invoice, or at reception on arrival before your booking. We do not take payment over the phone.
f you are driving, there are two public car parks within a short walk. St John’s Multi-Storey Car Park on Swan Street (NN1 1HA) is a two-minute walk away and has ample spaces. Morrisons Car Park on Victoria Promenade (NN1 1HB) is a five-minute walk away and suits shorter stays.
We have meeting and event spaces, holding from 6 to 80 people: Trickers (6), Loake (10), Crockett & Jones (14), Church’s (16), the Training Room (24) and the Crockett & Jones Theatre (40 to 80).
All cancellations must be made in writing by email and will be confirmed by return email. If you need to cancel a meeting room booking, the following charges apply:
- More than 5 working days’ notice: No cancellation charge
- Within 5 working days: 25% of the hire charge
- 48 hours or less notice: 50% of the hire charge
- 24 hours or less notice: Full hire charge payable
No. Our meeting rooms are open to everyone. Coworking members and office customers receive a discounted rate.
