DESCRIPTION:A two-hour workshop on innovation grants where you’ll learn how to find grants\, understand your eligibility and tips for making successful applications. \n  \nDr Chloe Sharp from MPA\, Head of Grant Services will be facilitating a free\, in-person two-hour workshop that includes: \n\nAn overview of the grant landscape (including local\, regional\, national and EU)\nWhere to find grant opportunities\nWhat the different levels are\, and ow they impact what is achieved in a grant project\nThe types of grant projects eligible for grants and how the type influences funding levels\nWhat makes a successful grant application\n\n\nMPA is a professional services business for all aspects of innovation\, made up of tax specialists\, industry-leading accountants\, innovation enthusiasts and R&D Tax Credit experts. \n  \nDr Chloe Sharp is the all-round grants lead at MPA\, having worked in grant consultancy for over a decade and winning over £10m in government grant funding. There is a general lack of understanding of how grants work that can in turn stop businesses from accessing grants\, which could be critical in enabling innovation as they pay for key R&D activities. In addition\, grants are often missed as part of broader\, strategic fundraising piece.
