DESCRIPTION:Northants Creative Industries Expo @ University of Northampton Learning Hub – November 24th & 25th \nTwo days of free talks and an exhibition where you can meet other creatives working in a range of sectors: advertising\, arts\, design\, events\, fashion\, film and tv\, games\, performing arts\, photography\, publishing\, music\, radio\, theatre and journalism. \n  \nDay 1 – Friday 24th November 12pm – 4pm  \nExhibitors will include Creative Alliance (apprenticeships)\, Creative Access (career support)\, Northants theatre/film/audio company Narrative Alchemy\, Dr. Martens\, publishers Hachette UK\, Sage Communications & Events\, BFI Network Midlands\, Into Film\, Final Pixel Academy (virtual production training)\, CARRIER-media lighting\, illustrator Alex Willmore (bring your portfolio for feedback)\, NLive Radio (who will be broadcasting live)\, Unity in Motion and Screen Northants amongst others. \n  \nNetworking drinks at Waterside Bar from 4pm – 7pm  \n  \nDay 2 – Saturday 25th November – 11am – 3pm  \nExhibitors will include; So Very Creative\, Strelka Design\, The Corby Core\, Buildersbrew (games development)\, Shorts2Features (online film community running Producer courses and events). \nPlus a number of Day 1 exhibitors \nAll this as well as the always-popular People Library with; Tim Hands (Emmy award-winning Sound work)\, Tyla Sharp (film producer)\, Laurence Maybury and Jack James (film writer/directors)\, Sally Sheinman (artist)\, Ian Ward (VFX Supervisor)\, Julia Thorley (Author) and many more. \nPlus these talks! \n11am – 12pm – The future of the Creative Industries (panel discussion) \n12pm – 1pm –  Creating A Living: Transferrable Skills of the Artist \n1pm – 2pm – Shorts2Features presents: How To Find Work In The Film Industry \n1pm – 2pm – Can I make a living doing something creative that I love? \n2pm – 3pm – What does Northants need to prosper in the Creative Industries?
